Mike Madrid,
Principal, GrassrootsLab has long studied behavior of Latino and
Asian American Pacific Islander voters. He reflects on how
2018 was an unusual year for voter turnout making it even harder to
predict what will happen in 2020. While voter preference
seems to break as much by ethnicity as by age, Mike reminds us that
a large portion of the Latino community is under 35. He is
also hopeful that voter turnout will be driven more by affirmation
of values than out of fear.
